The cabin has a small sitting room with fireplace, couch and chair and a bedroom with queen-sized bed.

Coming in 2017 — We are completing some renovations and upgrades to Dick’s Maggot to make your stay even more enjoyable. As part of the work, we are installing a new mini-bar with sink, basic cooking: microwave, burner, toaster oven, coffee maker, mini refrigerator and dishes for 4 people.  There is a grill and picnic table just outside the cabin.

The bedroom which is on the pond side, has a queen bed and magnificent lake view. The bathroom has a claw-foot tub with hand shower. There is a very small screened porch on the lake side perfect to seat two people.

The cabin is immediately adjacent to the lake and waterfront.  There is a small dock on the waterfront which is shared with residents of the two small cabins next door.  The cabin comes with one parking space and use of basic wifi internet.

From mid-June through Labor Day, our neighbor, Pinewoods Camp, holds folk dance weeks for adults and family groups. You can hear their folk music and some instruction wafting through the woods until 11 PM.  In early June and September, the woods are usually wonderfully quiet.
